Working with GWW: A Conversation with John Perivolaris

One of the aims of the George Washington Wilson Centre for Visual Culture is to work with and promote GWW’s photographic archive, which is part of the University of Aberdeen’s Special Collections. Centre Director Ed Welch sat down for a conversation with photographer John Perivolaris as he starts work on a new photographic project which will see him engage with the archive as part of an on-going project on urban space in Aberdeen, which began with Material City, organised as part of the University of Aberdeen’s May Festival in 2014, and will see John revisiting the locations of some of Washington Wilson’s images of Aberdeen harbour.
