Vacancy: Lecturer in Film

The School of Language, Literature, Music and Visual Culture at the University of Aberdeen seeks to appoint a full-time Lecturer in Film to contribute to the teaching of film-making and global cinema, and to make a strong contribution to research in the successful candidate’s areas of specialism in the broad field of Film and Visual Culture:

You  will  have  extensive  experience  in  film  and  digital  media  practice,  accompanied  by  an  excellent  understanding  of  the  contemporary film and media industry. You will be able to convene/teach on existing modules, such as 'Introduction to Film and the Cinematic Experience', as well as to develop new courses in your areas of expertise for UG and PG programmes. Applications in any area of film are welcome. Applicants with a specialism in cinemas and screen cultures from outside Europe and North America are especially encouraged to apply.
